I'm Jayden, a wedding + elopement photographer based in Calgary Alberta. I was born and raised in Ontario and moved to Calgary in 2012! When I'm not behind the camera, I love spending time with my husband Jensen and our red toy poodle Pico mamas. I love travelling, reading, singing at the top of my lungs in the car, and hanging out with friends.
I'm drawn to people that are silly, laid back, and authentically themselves. Capturing each couple's unique relationship is my jam. My goal is to create timeless images that bring back all the amazing feelings from your wedding day (and for you to look at yourself and be like "whoa.. I'm hot as hell".
You're going to be spending a lot of time with me on your big day, so I want you to feel comfortable and at ease. I'm all about creating a fun and relaxed atmosphere, while still making sure we get those stunning shots.
I'm not shy when it comes to having a good time! I'll be blasting music, dancing with you, and making sure you're staying hydrated throughout the day. #hydrateordiedrate.
When it comes to photography, my approach is all about capturing those candid moments that truly reflect your personalities and relationship. I'll guide you through some poses and give you prompts, but I also love to let things unfold naturally.

I grew up in London, moved to Calgary a couple days after graduating high school, and now split my time between Orange County, California and Canada for wedding season. I went to Alberta University of the Arts as a photography major, love travelling the world, and I'm obsessed with my doge Pico.
My sibs and I all start with the letter J (Kardashian energy) and I'm a claaaassic middle child.

As a wedding photographer, I've had the privilege of capturing some of the most amazing and heartwarming moments between two people in love. And I have to say, it's hard not to be inspired by the magic of it all. As someone who is happily married myself, I truly believe in the power of marriage and the incredible bond that it creates.
There's nothing quite like having a partner in life who truly understands you and who you can build a life with. When I look back on the last ten years of my life, I can't help but feel overwhelmed with joy and gratitude. And that's what I want for all of my clients - to experience that same joy and excitement as they embark on their own journey together.
So, as your photographer, I'm not just there to capture beautiful images - I'm there to bear witness to the start of a new chapter in someone's life. And as someone who truly believes in the power of marriage, it's an honour to be a part of that journey.
